A Prisoner of War

Hearteningly buried
sometimes, abstract burials
but not forgotten
Put in a jealous gaol
spaced out
with labyrinthine corridors

Starving one who
sees gruel tantalising

Excruciating torture
and
a by proxy death, if any
coil up the mind

Still brave.
